Norcross Man, Brother Charged in Gwinnett Fatal Stabbing

NORCROSS, Ga. - Gwinnett police say they have charged a man in connection with a fatal stabbing Sunday.

Agustin Rangel-Oviedo of Norcross has been charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of a Sifredo Palma, 20, of Norcross.

According to Gwinnett County Police Officer Corporal Edwin Ritter, Palma was stabbed at a building of the Sinclair Apartments on Sunday moing.

Ritter says the victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

Oviedo's brother, Rogelio Rangel-Oviedo, 18, was also arrested and charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive, says Ritter.

Police say they have no motive for the stabbing.
