Missing Las Vegas showgirl from Marietta was dismembered and buried in cement: cops

The dismembered body of a beautiful Las Vegas showgirl missing since December has been found, and police have taken her ex-boyfriend into custody.

Remains of Deborah Flores-Naraez were discovered in two tubs filled with cement in a house downtown, officials said on Saturday.

The 32-year-old, who was a dancer in the Cirque du Soleil show "Love" at The Mirage, had been missing since Dec. 12.

Her ex-boyfriend, Jason (Blu) Griffith, admitted last month that she had visited him briefly that night. He claimed they talked for a short time at his front door, but then she left and never entered his house.

Griffith is being held without bail, but has not yet been officially charged, the Las Vegas Review-Joual reports.

A professional dancer as well, detectives discovered Griffith rented a U-Haul and bought cement shortly after his "visit" from Flores-Naraez, police said. Using GPS they were able to track his movements to the house where the woman's remains were found.

Police are saying very little about the "complicated case," but have indicated that an autopsy to determine Flores-Naraez's exact cause of death is expected on Monday.

According to a police report obtained by CBS News in December, Griffith had been arrested and charged with one count of domestic-violence-related battery in October, when he reportedly stole Flores-Narvaez's cell phone during an argument and assaulted her when she tried to retrieve it.

Griffith allegedly threw the phone and pushed her to the ground, the report stated, then pulled her hair and kicked her as she tried to pick it up.

Police said Flores-Narvaez was who reportedly pregnant at the time, suffered bruises on her legs and that a chunk of her hair was found at the scene of the fight.

Griffith will appear in court on Wednesday, according to the Review-Joual.
