Metro officer Christopher Maddox arrested for exposing himself in public

An Atlanta police officer has been relieved of duty after being arrested... twice. This time it was for public indecency.

The Gwinnett County police say Christopher Todd Maddox was already relieved of duty when the second incident occurred.

It happened in the parking lot of the NCG Cinemas on Rockbridge Road around 9 a.m. on March 25. Police say Maddox was behind the wheel of an SUV when he waved over a woman in her own vehicle. The victim told police that he asked her if she liked to "massage penises" and then proceeded to expose and fondle himself in front of her. The woman rolled up her window and the man drove off.

Police say the incident was caught by the theater's security cameras. They were able to get the license plate and description of the man which led to the arrest.

Jail records incident that Maddox was arrested on April 8. He posted a $5,700 bond.
