Kathryn Ronk, 30, has received a second sentence of up to 15 years in prison for having sex with a 15-year-old student at Bishop-Foley Catholic High School in suburban Detroit

She was known as 'Señora Ronk' and had just started teaching at the school in the fall of 2013 before starting a relationship with a boy, which allegedly included sex between classes, that same year
At the time of her arrest police said that the teacher, who was known as Señora Ronk, and the unnamed boy would reportedly have sex in between classes.
She could have faced life in prison for the relationship, which became known last spring after the students' parents filed a complaint, but will now be eligible for parole after five and a half years.
The sentence she received from Macomb County, where the boy lives, on Thursday will run concurrently which the similar sentence she received from Oakland County in March, where the school is located, according to Michigan Live.

The criminal sexual conduct between Ronk and the boy was said to have taken place in her classroom (pictured), her car and the boy's home
The teacher, who was married in 2011, was also believed to have given the boy alcohol.
Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mary Chrzanowski told Ronk at her sentencing, 'Teaching is such an honorable profession. What a terrible lesson, because you had a great job.
Ronk was immediately fired from the school, where she began teaching in 2013, after the allegations.
A supporter of the teacher said that she is fighting a mental illness, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Chrzanowski told Ronk that she should teach those in prison 'right from wrong'.
