Mario Lopez Expecting Child No. 2

Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney announced they are expecting another child - and no one is more delighted than their two-year-old daughter, Gia.

The toddler wore a personalized 'Big Sister' T-shirt to pose up with her famous father on Tuesday.

The X Factor host, 39, tweeted the snap, along with the caption: 'Congratulations Gia on your big news!!! You're gonna be an awesome big sister... @CourtneyMLopez & I are so proud.'

Mario and Courtney, who married last year, had earlier shared their baby news on Extra.

'I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives,' he said.

The family then celebrated with a surprise baby shower on the show.

The pair married at Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis' $30 million Punta Mita estate in Mexico in earlier December. Guests included their close friend Eva Longoria.

The nuptials were screened on TLC's Mario & Courtney's Wedding Fiesta just a few days later.

Mario previously tied the knot to Ali Landry in Mexico in 2004 but their marriage was annulled after just two weeks and he later revealed he had cheated on her at his bachelor party just days before their nuptials.

This week there have been reports Mario's X Factor co-host Khloe Kardashian has been sacked from the show. He is expected to retu next season.

A spokesperson for the show would only say: 'The producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year.'
