Teen fell 23 storeys while doing pull-ups to impress a girl – and survived

A teenager has somehow survived a 23-storey fall while doing pull-ups to impress a girl.

Alexander Shadrin landed on a taxi parked undeeath after dropping 230ft from a balcony in Siberia.

Witnesses said he climbed over balcony railings to show off. He failed.

He was still conscious when paramedics arrived despite suffering serious injuries and he is now in intensive care.

Pictures show the 16-year-old on the roof of the car which cushioned his fall when it buckled undeeath him, according to the Siberian Times.

Investigators said he ‘climbed over the balcony rails, clung on for sometime, but then couldn"t hang on any longer, and fell onto a car parked below."

The driver was not in the vehicle at the time.

Investigators have taken statements from witnesses including relatives of the boy.

The identities the girl he was seeking to impress, and his relatives have not been made public.
