Lonely guy racks up $140K in sex chat line bills in 3 months
British man Kevin Waldrum, 45, broke up with his girlfriend last year, then took to calling a sex chat line to alleviate his loneliness. He might have alleviated it a bit too much: The phone company claims he's run up a tab of nearly $140,000.
The company apparently missed an opportunity to alert him of his massive bill when it was slightly smaller, so they're lowering his bill considerably, down to around $44,500.
