Lindsay Lohan facing jail after judge revokes probation
Lindsay Lohan will have to wait until January 15 to find out if she'll be jailed

LINDSAY Lohan is facing up to eight months behind bars after a judge revoked her probation.

The troubled actress was ordered to be on her best behaviour after she was convicted of stealing a necklace last year.

But she was charged last month with reckless driving and lying to police following a car accident in Califoia in June.

Li-Lo, 26, told cops she wasn't driving her Porsche Cayenne when it crashed into a lorry on the Pacific Coast Highway - but multiple witnesses came forward, stating the star was behind the wheel.

And Judge Jane Godfrey today decided the charges were enough to revoke her probation.

Lohan was not in court for the hearing, but will be forced to appear before the bench on January 15 to find out her fate.

The maximum punishment is eight months in jail.

It won't be Lindsay's first stint behind bars - she's been jailed four times before for violating her probation after she was convicted of driving under the influence.

It doesn't end there.

She's also facing assault charges after she allegedly punched a woman during a nightclub fight over The Wanted singer Max George.

The alleged attack took place after the band's concert in New York on November 29.
