KIM Kardashian is engaged to her rapper boyfriend and baby daddy Kanye West. The music star is said to have orchestrated an elaborate proposal in front of her family and friends.

According to E! News the 36-year-old star rented out the AT&T Park stadium in San Francisco stadium and proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday.

Earlier this week there were rumours that Kanye had planned to propose to Kim  - whom he has three-month-old daughter North with - and had picked out the perfect ring.

A source previously said: "He chose the ring from exclusive jewellers Boucheron on a recent trip to Paris."

Kanye was going to share the engagement news at one of his shows in Califoia as part of his 'Yeezus' tour next week, where Kim is expected to be in the audience, but the word is already out.

Here we thought Kim's 33rd birthday bash at Tao nightclub this Friday was going to be the major event of the week!
