Kendra Wilkinson rushed to hospital after car accident
Kendra Wilkinson was taken to the hospital following a bad car accident in L.A.'s Tarzana neighbourhood.

KENDRA Wilkinson is reportedly recovering in hospital after a car crash. The 27-year-old model and reality television star was seen entering Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Los Angeles early on Sunday, according to Us Weekly.

The magazine reports Kendra was involved in a crash in the city's Tarzana neighbourhood.

She is said to be "in shock" and "really sore" from the incident.

It is not believed she suffered any serious injuries.

"She was taken in earlier. She was discharged already," a source told the publication.

Kendra is married to American football star Hank Baskett III. The couple share a three-year-old son, also named Hank.

It was unclear at press time if Kendra was behind the wheel at the time of the accident or if anyone else was in the car with her. No other injuries were reported.

A spokesperson for the star has yet to issue comment.

Kendra recently spoke about her fears for getting hurt on new US reality television competition Splash. The former Playboy model recently left the programme after determining performing on the high diving series was simply too risky.

"I'm so sorry, everybody. It's bittersweet. One thing I don't do is quit. This is the first time in my life I've quit something," she said, resolving, "This will haunt me for the rest of my life."
