Kelis 'facing trouble with the taxman as total debt climbs to over $740,000'
Kelis owes funds in two states and to the federal govement, according to a new report.
TMZ claims the 33-year-old singer's tax debt just keeps growing and now it's adding up to the tune $741,027.59.
Kelis apparently skipped out on paying her income taxes in 2004 and 2010 and, thanks to penalties and interest, the amount has skyrocketed.
Kelis is being sought after for unpaid income taxes in both New York and Califoia in addition to the IRS, according to the website.
TMZ reports the IRS filed documents in May that claim the singer did not pay her federal income taxes amounting to $134,931.59 nine years ago.

The Milkshake star recently sold her New York pad for $2.2 million so presumably what profit she made will go to the taxman.
Kelis, who performed in London as part of her Get Luck Launch Party tour on May 30, gave no indication of anxiety as she shared a brief message with her Twitter followers the next day.
'Well I'm off to the airport , n I gotta say. London you still know how to make a girl feel loved! Had a ball ! Last night proud rocked!' she tweeted.

The singer was spotted in December shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue with her three-year-old son Knight.
While Kelis looked spirited in a rainbow-hued outfit, her little boy was equally dapper in a blue and green patteed sweat and jeans.
Knight's father is rapper Nasir Jones, better known as Nas, whom Kelis divorced in 2010.
