SHE flaunted her incredible figure in four different dresses at the Grammys on Sunday, but settled on a "tent" to cover herself up again at a Beatles event last night.

Katy Perry, who usually manages to hit the right note on the red carpet, has been slammed for her latest ensemble - a floral pink jacquard frock with matching cape.

The only problem was that it was hard to tell where the dress started and the cape began - making her look like she'd been swallowed up by a curtain from the 1950s.

The ensemble has since been called "weird and enormous" and a "very floral fashion fail" by critics, with many asking what she was hiding beneath all that fabric.

Others likened the frock to a "couch and matching drapes" and said it bore resemblance to "upholstered sofa cushions".

Perry paired the Dolce and Gabbana cloak-and-dress with white stilettos and a fringed bun - neither of which managed to redeem it.

The singer was attending "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles", where she also performed in the drapery-inspired ensemble.
