Kanye West has sparked outrage (again) after comparing performing on stage to ‘being a police officer’ or ‘in war’.

The rap blabbermouth claimed he was risking his life every day as a musician.

He told Saturday Night Online without any hint of irony: ‘Like, I’m just giving of my body on the stage.

‘I’m putting my life at risk, literally!’

He explained: ‘When I think about when I’m on the Can’t Tell Me Nothing, and Coldest Winter moment, like that mountain goes really, really high.

‘And if I slipped… You never know. And I think about it.

‘I think about my family and I’m like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.’

‘Like you literally going out to do your job every day, knowing that something could happen. Something can happen to you.’

Kanye revealed he was keen to pass on these pearls of wisdom to his baby daughter North when she grows up.

‘I’ll explain to my daughter my one day, that me and her mother, we had to fight for this position that we’ll finally have.’

West was forced to defend himself yesterday after fake quotes emerged online purporting to be from him.

Kanye was falsely reported as comparing himself to Nelson Mandela after South Africa’s first black president died.
