Justin Bieber is under investigation over an attempted robbery, it has been reported.

Bieber had enjoyed a game of golf at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park in Los Angeles when he noticed a mother trying to take pictures of him having an altercation with some men.

He allegedly then approached the woman and demanded to see her phone so he could delete any pictures and when she refused, he apparently went into her handbag to grab her phone.

The woman, from San Feando Valley, tells TMZ she then began wrestling with the 20-year-old pop star to get her phone back. When Bieber allegedly realised he couldn’t access the pictures because her phone was locked, she showed him she had not actually managed to take any pictures.

And when she then told Bieber she just wanted her 13-year-old daughter to be able to meet him, he apparently screamed: ‘You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don’t you just get out of here,’ which made the young girl cry.

Police officer Rosario Herrera told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘Detectives are currently interviewing the victim. It was reported at 10.30pm Monday night to our Devonshire location and occurred earlier in the day in the Valley.’

This incident is the latest in a long line of run-ins with the police for Bieber.

In January he was arrested for driving under the influence and drag racing in Miami. He was arrested and charged the same month for assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto.
