Judge denies bond for Clayton man Divonte Lester accused in shooting death of Keevon Heckstall
A Clayton County judge denied bond for the man accused in the shooting death of a state lawmaker's nephew.
Investigators say Divonte Lester was playing with a gun he believed was unloaded when he shot and killed Keevon Heckstall.
The 19-year-old victim is the nephew of state Rep. Joe Heckstall of East Point.
Lester faces several charges including involuntary manslaughter.
