She performed to the cheers of millions around the world, but there's was one only man on Beyonce's mind following her incredible on-stage tu.

After singing a series of her biggest hits during the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday, Beyonce was spotted running into her husband Jay-Z's arms backstage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The 31-year-old songstress wrapped herself in a black robe after her high powered performance, which even featured a reunion with her Destiny's Child co-members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The snaps, which were posted by make-up artist Joanna Simkin, quickly gained traction on Twitter after they were re-shared by singer, and one of her clients, Estelle.

The Love on Top singer is seen leaping into the Black and Blue rapper's arms as the pair are surrounded by cameras and a curious crowd.

In another shot the two continued to run down down the hallway, laughing as Beyonce struggles to hang on to a Venti-sized up of Starbucks.
