Police say they discovered $2 million worth of methamphetamine inside a home in Gwinnett County last week.

Gwinnett County Sheriff's deputies and Homeland Security agents responded to a tip that drugs were at a home located on James Road in Lawrenceville on May 1.

When they arrived, they found two containers filled with meth, according to officials.

After obtaining a search warrant, investigators found what appeared to be liquid meth.

"The liquid was in…three-gallon Igloo coolers, the same thing you take water in or something like to a picnic," said one official.

At that point, the house was evacuated and the DEA took measures to store, seal and remove meth from the home.

Around 131.2 pounds of meth, worth about $2 million, was seized.

Authorities arrested Jesus Gonzales and Nahum Rodriguez.

The investigation is ongoing and more suspects are being sought, officials said.

Investigators say the effect of a bust like this can linger for months and years because there are hazardous substances or waste products still in the house.

The Gwinnett Metro Task Force says this is the biggest meth bust for the task force, which was formed in 2011.
