Islamic State release price list for slaves as young as one
Islamic State (IS) has released a price list of slaves – with some as young as one.
Abducted children aged from one to nine-years-old are the most expensive of all females with a price tag of 200,000 dinars ($180).
The tariff shows only Yazidi and Christian women. Those aged between 40 and 50 are being sold for 50,000 dinars ($43).
A document obtained by Iraqi News which sets out the prices was that it must be strictly adhered to by all IS members. Those who flaunt the rules – which includes selling more than three slaves to one buyer – will be executed.
It reads: ‘The market to sell women and spoils of war has been experiencing a significant decrease, which has adversely affected ISIS revenue and financing of the Mujahideen."
