Iran hangs accused CIA, Mossad spies
Hanging is common in Iran.

IRAN has hanged two men convicted of spying for the CIA and Israel's Mossad, Fars News Agency reports.

Mohamad Heidary was executed after being convicted of supplying secret information to Mossad agents while travelling abroad.

Kurosh Ahmadi was hanged for providing information about Iran to CIA officers, Fars said.

The news agency did not provide additional information about the men or identify the location where the executions were carried out.

The Iranian govement follows Sharia law, which calls for executions of murderers, rapists, drug traffickers and all those who violate the laws of Allah and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
