Interactive ad changes display based on viewer's sex

You're not being paranoid: That bus stop is really checking you out. A new $47,355 ad that has been installed on London's Oxford Street uses facial recognition technology to determine your gender and then changes the content based on which set of chromosomes you're carrying.

Women see a 40-second advertisement for Plan UK, a children's charity, which is advocating for girls' education, while men get nothing but a blank screen and a URL for the Plan UK website. \"We're not giving men and boys the chance to see the full ad,\" Plan UK CEO Marie Staunton told The Telegraph. \"So they get a glimpse of what it's like to have basic choices taken away.\"

Is this technology cool or creepy?
