'I had sex with goat but I did ask it first'
A Nigerian villager has been arrested for having sex with his goat but is adamant he should be freed because he asked its permission first.
Malam Kamisu Baranda was handed over to police by the head of his village outside Dutse and has been remanded in custody, according to the Daily Times.
The 20-year-old is said to have been caught having sex with the goat ten times because they ‘satisfied his demand".
He said he took goats into the forest near his home to ‘avoid embarrassment" and did not know it was an offence to have sex with them.
Mr Baranda was handed a two-week prison sentence despite his pleas for leniency.
