Hypocritical Saudis arrest woman for having 2 husbands
It may seem a little hypocritical (OK, a lot hypocritical), but Saudi Arabia's Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has arrested a woman for having two husbands at the same time, squirreled away in two different cities.
According to the Emirates 24/7 website, a woman is only allowed to harbor one spouse at a time under Islamic law, while males in the kingdom can take up to four wives at once. At least one Tweep is raising the collective feminist fist in the air, indignantly commenting, \"This woman should be rewarded for her bald-faced guts.\" The brave bigamist was also busted for sorcery, though specifics on her paranormal activities weren't immediately available.
