Russian authorities arrested a man who killed his bride one week after their wedding for not charging his phone.

Samir Gabibov, 34, from St Petersburg, Russia told police that he killed his pretty bride Gyulnara Velieva, 23, by accident after pushing her during an argument. He said she fell awkwardly, hit her head and died.

According to Alexander Nesvit, deputy chief of investigations, Gabibov lost his temper after Mrs Velieva forgot to charge his phone. She forgot her promise to recharge it for him

Mr Nesvit said: \"He had a thing for such little things.\"

He also revealed that Gabibov has told police that he wrapped his wife's body in builders' bags.

He called his brother to ask for help moving the bags - but did not tell him what was inside them, claiming his wife was asleep upstairs.

Gabibov told police he and his brother took the bags out of the city and dumped them in the countryside.
