Hundreds of strangers turn up for funeral of toddler Ember Warfel found in empty flat
This the heart-warming moment that hundreds of strangers attended the funeral of a toddler whose body was discovered in an empty apartment.
Ember Warfel’s father, 34-year-old Eric Warfel, was charged with abuse of a corpse after her body was found in Medina, Ohio.

He is accused of leaving the youngster in her crib for more than a month after her death, and putting rubbish in her room in an attempt to conceal the stench of her decomposing body.
But now, more than 200 people have attended a vigil to celebrate Ember’s life after it was organised on Facebook.
Dozens of balloons were released in her memory, candles were lit, and the vigil was led by local poster Rev. Tony Miles.
‘We’re here to memorialise the ache that a lot of us felt when we read the headlines this week’, he said.
Kimberlee Nagy Bublik, who helped to organise the vigil, explained: ‘Everybody wants to blame and point fingers, but the reaction people should have is the opposite.
‘We should be bringing the community together to mou this little girl.’
‘None of us knew the family’, she added. ‘This is just what a community does. We support each other.’
