Police in the British city of York are seeking a woman dressed as the Incredible Hulk over an assault upon a 17-year-old girl.

The victim, who lives locally, was left with bruising to her face and a black eye after being attacked outside the McDonald"s on the city"s Blake Street at around 3am on Friday April 26.

‘At the time of the incident the woman suspected of the assault was covered in green body paint with dyed red hair," a police statement said.

‘However, she is believed to be a white woman, in her late teens or early 20s and around 5ft 8in tall with a medium build."

PC Cheryl Hunter of York police said the 17-year-old appears to have been the victim of a ‘wholly unprovoked assault".

‘Thankfully the injuries were not too severe. However, the outcome could have been far more serious," she added.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or can provide any information is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
