Huge, lewd football ad currently greeting people flying into Australia
An online gambling business has come under fire for an ad as big as a football field that every plane landing in Melboue, Australia can see. Painted on grass, the Sportsbet advert depicts a winking kangaroo \"cuddling\" a surprised lion from behind with the slogan \"Rooting for the Wallabies\" (that verb has a double meaning Down Under). The Wallabies are Australia's rugby union team who are playing England in Melboue soon (that'd be the Lion).
An Aussie radio host said the massive ad was not a good first impression for tourists and children landing in Melboue. Of course, presumably, any visiting English rugby fans are welcome to feel as offended as they like. [Source]
