Hotel guest captures creepy image after taking picture of room in the dark

When 27-year-old Douglas Patterson of Edinburgh in the U.K was awakened in the middle of the night by a weird light shinning through his hotel room window, he did what everyone else do when a strange is eminating from the window of our hotel room (Insert Sarcastic Laughter Here). Instead of getting up to investigate, he snapped a picture in the dark and fell back to sleep

In the morning, he checked his camera to see if he had caught anything and was seriously spooked to see a white figure.

‘There was definitely nothing there when I took the picture,’ said Douglas.

‘I couldn’t work out what the light was so I took picture in the hope that the following morning I could identify what it was.

‘I could sort of see this shape and I just thought it was a reflection off some furniture – but there was no furniture at that point in the room.’

Lindsay Steele, sales manager at Sweeney Hall, said: ‘We’ve had reports of furniture knocking, footsteps along the back corridor, but never anything this conclusive before.

‘I didn’t believe in ghosts at all but I might be converted because it does look like a women in a dress with her hair in a bonnet or a bun – everybody here is convinced.’

However, hotel staff are at a loss as to who the mysterious figure might be.

‘Sweeney Hall was a children’s home at one time, but other than that it has been a private residence,’ continued Lindsay.

‘We’ve been looking through old photographs but we don’t know who it could be. But we do know there is something going on here.’

Fortunately, the additional guest has not put Mr Patterson off staying at the hotel again.
