Horribly racist article outrages parents, readers of every race
Conservative columnist John Derbyshire's advice in "Taki's Magazine" for white and Asian parents is disturbing people of all colors and creeds. Derbyshire wants "non-black" parents to sit their children down and have a frank, racist version of "the talk" for their personal safety which includes hateful -- and absurd -- advice like: "Avoid concentrations of blacks not all known to you personally" and "Do not settle in a district or municipality run by black politicians."
Derbyshire even brings in weird pseudoscientific statistics drawn from who-knows-where that sound straight out of a Klan Rally: "A much larger cohort of blacks -- around half -- will go along passively if five percent take leadership" and "the mean intelligence of blacks is much lower than whites."
Derbyshire was fired by the "National Review" after the column was published.
