Hong Kong Starbucks apologizes for brewing coffee with 'toilet water'
Starbucks used toilet water to brew coffee in Hong Kong location

OK, so this Starbucks didn't use water from an actual toilet to brew coffee. But it did use water from a wall-mounted faucet located mere feet from the urinal, which is also cause for alarm. Oh, but they filtered it — does that help? Workers were reportedly forced to carry water from the bathroom in a neighboring garage because of a lack of any nearby water source, but bathroom water? Thankfully, Hong Kong's Food and Environmental Hygiene Department issued a waing to the Starbucks, which we hope was stely worded. After news of the toilet water got out, the location switched to distilled water. Also from a toilet (kidding). [Source]
