- Police say a student is facing drug charges after he was found with nearly 40 doses of LSD on school property Tuesday.

Salvador Godoy Mojica, 17, of Gillsville and a student at East Hall High School was arrested and charged with possession of LSD with the intent to distribute and distribution of drugs at a school, according to Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware.

"EHHS administrators had been alerted that a student had narcotics on school property, and the information led them to Godoy Mojica," Hall County School District spokesman Gordon Higgins wrote in a media release.

Godoy Mojica was booked in at the Hall County Jail and suspended from school pending a disciplinary review. The case remains under investigation.
