Hall County Police Recover $400K in Stolen Jewelry From Linda Waddell

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities in Hall County say they recovered nearly $400,000 in jewelry last week in connection with a burglary of a Hall County home.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, on August 12 deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a home on Mountain Meadow Drive in Clermont. During the course of the investigation, authorities recovered the stolen jewelry from the home and arrested 48-year-old Linda Waddell of Clermont.

Waddell was arrested on August 16. The jewelry was recovered August 19. She has been charged with felony theft by receiving.

The incident remains under investigation.
