GWYNETH Paltrow has gone on the record to say she’d forgive her husband if he ever cheated on her.

Speaking to Refinery29.com, the 40-year-old actor opened up about her 10-year marriage to singer Chris Martin.

“I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another,” Paltrow said.

“No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges. I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can’t give an honest answer as I haven’t really experienced that.”

Gwyneth added that if the Colplay front man did ever stray, she’d want to know about it straight away.

“I think it would be hard for me to be one of those wives who finds out there’s been something going on behind my back 20 years in. I’d imagine you’d begin to question your life,” she said.

The celebrity couple married in 2003 and have two kids, nine-year-old Apple and seven-year-old Moses.

Paltrow is promoting her latest film Thanks For Sharing co-starring Mark Ruffalo. The movie, which is primarily about sex addiction, will be released on October 3.
