GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County Police, Family and friends are searching for a missing missing mother in Norcross.

According to officials, Beatriz Espinoza, 25, was last seen Friday after leaving the Hickory Grove apartments.

"She was supposed to pick up her eldest son from school, the school bus, and she never showed up," Maria Martinez said. ”It’s very unusual. She’s never done anything like that.

She disappeared with her 3-year-old son, who was later found wandering alone Saturday moing in a shopping center near the apartment.

Close to 100 people gathered to search in the nearby wooded areas Sunday moing. The group handed out fliers in the area asking for help in finding Espinoza.
