Gregory Favors Indicted In Trooper Slaying

ATLANTA -- Accused killer Gregory Favors has been indicted by a grand jury in the slaying of Georgia State Trooper Chadwick LeCroy, the Fulton County District Attoey's Office announced Friday.

Favors, 30, was indicted on eight counts, which include charges of murder and two counts of felony murder.

LeCroy, 38, was gunned down in the line of duty on Dec. 27 after attempting to stop Favors for a broken taillight. Authorities said Favors refused to pull over and later crashed his car. He was later arrested.

Fulton County District Attoey Howard is scheduled to meet with LeCroy’s family next week.
