GRAPHIC: Awful moment Muslim woman is sent flying in hit-and-run by 'far-right activist'

Moments before the footage started rolling the car reportedly drove through a police blockade during an anti-Islam protest in a troubled Brussels neighborhood.

It then slams into the woman as she crosses the street, sending her flying onto the tarmac.

One sick passenger even appears to lean out of the window to snap a picture of the injured woman

The driver runs over the woman"s legs as he speeds off in a getaway.

The woman was said to be seriously hurt but was treated at the scene.

Cops have not confirmed a motive for the incident.

It came as tensions spilled into the open in the Belgian capital following terrorist attacks in the city on March 22.
