In what has to be the most ironic job vacancy of all time, Google is hiring someone to improve its search engine optimisation (SEO).

In other words, Google wants to hire a person to make Google appear higher up in Google search.

The ‘Program Manager for Search Engine Optimisation' role was posted on Google's job portal this week.

But it's not a job for any of you college drop-outs. No, this role requires a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, four years of experience developing websites and applications with SQL, HTML5, and XML, and two years of SEO experience.

Good luck.
