German music festival explosion: Bomb blast outside Ansbach wine bar
A suicide bomb has been set off among a German open air music festival, killing at least one person and prompting a massive police response.
The Mayor of Ansbach, Carda Seidel, has confirmed to local media that the explosion in the city"s centre was due to an explosive device.

Police sources have told German media they believe the deceased person is the bomber.
Police and fire services responded to the blast shortly after 10pm Nurenberg time, which was initially said to have been a possible gas explosion.
It was later realised to have come from the footpath in front of a wine bar close to an entrance to the festival event.
Unconfirmed reports on local social media suggest a man wearing a backpack had been tued away from the entrance moments before the blast.
The music festival has been shut down and its 2500 participants evacuated.
At least 11 people have been taken to hospital, with unconfirmed reports that a second may have since died.
Germany"s Interior Minister is on his way to the scene, and police helicopter and special forces are scouring the area.
The entire ‘old town" of Ansbach has been sealed off.
Ansbach is a city of about 40,000 in Bavaria near Nuremburg and some 125 miles north of Munich.
