German language runs out of vulgarities, takes English ones
What words would you nominate?

You would think German, a language that has provided English with all kinds of evocative \"loan\" words (Schadenfreude; angst; coffee klatsch) would have a term approximating \"sh*tstorm.\" Apparently not. \"Sh*tstorm\" was named \"Anglicism of the Year\" by a group of language experts, who called it the \"top English contribution to the German language last year.\" In a statement issued by the jury of voters: \"Sh*storm fills a gap in the German vocabulary that has become apparent through changes in the culture of public debate.\" Danke schoen, Germany. Here's hoping \"Mozgoved\" follows soon.
