Fury in Italy after video of Italian high school teacher exposing her bra 'during striptease in classroom' is posted online

An Italian high school teacher has been shamed online after students posted a video of her lifting up her top to expose her bra and doing an impromptu striptease.

The footage - believed to be taken in a classroom at the Gramsci Keynes Institute in Prato, Tuscany, - has outraged pupils' parents who have demanded authorities take action.

Recorded on a student's mobile, the short clip was shared hundreds of times on Whatsapp and social media. Italian news outlets identified the woman as an IT teacher but did not reveal her identity.

A representative of the school, Philip Balugani, told local media he got the video from his brother, who attends the school, and other students have recorded the teacher on their phones.

School director, Maria Grazia Tempesti, said she was shocked but declined to fully comment on the video.

But she said the school has started disciplinary action and had summoned other teachers to investigate the case.

Until now the school management had received no complaints about her behaviour.

A statement on the school's website on April 11 mentions that an 'evaluation' of the situation was underway.
