Frenchman sues Google over Street View pic of him peeing
A Frenchman is so pissed about an image Google Street View published online that he's suing the company. The picture shows the man, who thought he was hidden behind a closed gate, urinating in his front yard, and he says it has made him the joke of the town.
The man says that despite his face being blurred out in the Street View image he has been recognized by residents of the village of 3,000 people in the Maine-et-Loire region. He is suing Google for about $13,300 in damages. The man's lawyer argues that everyone has the right to some degree of privacy, but Google's lawyer in the case told a local newspaper that the case should be null and void.
