Former Kindergarten Teacher Sarah Lindsay Pleads Guilty To Sex Crime Involving Minor

A former Spartanburg County kindergarten teacher is behind bars after pleading guilty to sexual conduct with a minor.

Sarah Jane Lindsay, 44, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between 11 and 14-years old and nine counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Lindsay taught at Boiling Springs Elementary School before investigators accused her and another woman of throwing parties for students involving drugs, sex and alcohol.

Lindsay and Audrey Beidleman Grabarkiewicz, 46, were arrested for the allegations last September.

Lindsay was sentenced to 10-years, suspended to 40-months. She is required serve 80 percent of the sentence and will be added to the sex offender registry. She will also have to serve five years probation and attend mental health counseling.

Grabarkiewicz is a former Lake Bowen Baptist Church preschool teacher.  Charges against her are pending
