Farrah Franklin: Former Destiny Child's member arrested outside Tucker gym

A former member of Destiny’s Child was arrested Thursday in DeKalb County after an alleged drunken incident outside of Tucker, Ga. gym.

According to the incident report, Farrah Franklin was outside Planet Fitness on Chamblee-Tucker Road just before 3 a.m. arguing with a man.  Franklin told the responding officer that she wasn’t ready to go home, and ”these [expletive] won’t leave me alone.

The responding officer reported that Franklin had bloodshot eyes, reeked of alcohol and her speech was slurred.

When asked how much alcohol she had to consumed, Franklin reportedly responded, ”not enough.

Franklin was taken to the DeKalb County Jail on public intoxication charges and marijuana possession charges after the officer discovered a ”leafy green substance in her purse thought to be marijuana during a search.

According to an MTV.com article, Franklin was a member of Destiny’s Child along with Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams back in 2000. She and Michelle Williams replaced original members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson in 1999. She exited the group after less than six months.
