ROME, GA - Floyd County police have charged a man who they say is suspected of using a date-rape drug.

Police said Dean Arce, 27, owner and operator of a media promotions company has been charged with raping a woman in Floyd County

Authorities say Arce used an unspecified ”date rape drug, and may have victimized more people than they found in their initial investigation, and they are seeking information from the public.

Arce owns and operates a Community Entertainment Solutions, LLC, a "media outlet" which he bills as a full-scale media, marketing and PR production firm. The business is located in Atlanta and operates advertising for music festivals in Southeast Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, according to police.

Arce has also been known to represent himself as a ”photographer for new and upcoming clothing lines, police said.
