Father ‘treats daughter’s rapist to dinner, burns genitals with tongs and tortures him to death’

He had a plan.

The father invited the married man, a medicine supplier, to dinner at home. But it was not a friendly sit-down.

Instead, the 36-year-old father was meeting the man, 45, who had raped his daughter, 14, two months ago.

He treated the rapist to dinner before torturing him to death.

Painful revenge

Police said that the incident in northeast Delhi's Khajuri Khas area took place on Friday night (Oct 31). 

The father subdued his victim, tied him to a chair and then bued his genitals with heated tongs before strangling him to death.

After killing him, the father walked into a police station and surrendered himself. He also gave police a detailed account of the incident.  

A police spokesperson said: \"Based on his statement, we sent a team to the spot and recovered the body.

\"It has been sent for a post-mortem examination and his family has been informed. A case of murder has been registered and the 36-year-old was arrested.\"
