Facebook is scrapping its 'Maybe' attending button
If you are organising an event, the news that Facebook is scrapping its 'maybe' attending button for events will be very welcome
But if you frequently use it to try and avoid dull gatherings without causing offence, you may not be so keen.
Whatever the case, the social network is gradually making the change and is replacing 'maybe' attending with another non-committal button saying 'interested'.
It features a small star icon and is located next the 'going' and 'invite options,' The Next Web reported.
The feature will also give people updates so they can decide whether they want to go to an event later.
It's only available on public events, not private ones and is being rolled out gradually, meaning some people may not see the new update yet.
