Ewwww! Horrifying pictures show spider living in woman’s ear
A woman was horrified to discover that discomfort in her ear was caused by a spider that had taken up residence there.

Doctors in China performed a spider-ectomy on a woman who had an arachnid living inside her ear for several days.

Photos taken at Changsha Central Hospital show the spider in horrifying close-up before it was removed.

The woman went to Changsha Central complaining – understandably – of an itch in her left ear, the Huffington Post reported. Doctors determined that the spider had likely been living in the woman"s ear canal for up to five days. They believe it got into her house as it was being renovated.

They flooded her ear with saline in hopes of dislodging it without causing it to bite her or burrow in deeper. The plan worked and she reportedly wept with gratitude.
