Eva Mendes Confesses To Trying Her Dog's Shock Collar
Actress EVA MENDES tested her dog's shock collar on herself before putting it on her beloved pet to make sure the device was safe for her

Eva Mendes has bizarrely confessed to wearing her dog's “shock collar” on The David Letterman Show, after admitting that her pooch Hugo is “trained to attack” and must be controlled by the device, which gives the animal an electric shock if he does something naughty.

Despite appearing on David Letterman to promote her new flick with Ryan Gosling, The Place Beyond The Pines, talk tued to Eva's seven-year-old Belgian Melanois and his recent frustration with not being able to “kill” or “attack”.

After explaining to David that Hugo's breed is a killer by nature, and are the dogs that “went in to get Osama”, the Cuban beauty who looked gorgeous in a green floral smock dress and a pair of Louboutin heels, admitted that her canine companion was currently fed up.

“He's a bit frustrated these days, because he lives with me, of course, and you know, he's trained to kill”, Eva began, before David worriedly interrupted her: “No, no, no, no, seriously, he's not trained to kill?”

“Yes yes yes yes he's trained to kill”, Eva laughed. “All he wants to do is kill for me, it's so sweet” she joked.

“Has he caught like a squirrel or anything?” David probed.

“I'd feel terrible if he hurt a little thing so I try to get in there”, Eva started. “And I use a, ahh people always get mad at me for this, but I use a shock collar on him and I have the remote”.

But to try and dispel the negativity that surrounds using the the electric shock devices on animals, Eva reassured the audience that she had tried it out on herself, “at all levels”.

“What does that mean, at all levels?” David laughed.

“Well, it goes from like zero to 110”, Eva explained. “I tested it on my arm...It's more than a tingle”.
