Emma Roberts arrested 'for bloodying boyfriend'

EMMA Roberts has been arrested for domestic violence, according to a new report.

The 22-year-old star was allegedly involved in a violent encounter with boyfriend Evan Peters in Montreal, Canada on July 7.

TMZ reports Roberts "bloodied" the 26-year-old American Horror Story actor during an altercation in which they were hitting each other.

Montreal law enforcement sources told the website police were called after a loud argument was reported in the couple's hotel room.

Peters was reportedly found with a bloody nose upon their arrival. He is also said to have suffered a bite mark.

Roberts, who is the niece of Julia Roberts and daughter of actor Eric Roberts, did not suffer any visible injuries and was reportedly taken into custody immediately, according to the website.

Peters reportedly did not press charges, prompting his girlfriend's release hours later.

Neither star has commented on the allegations.

The pair reportedly began dating in 2012 while working on the Scott Coffey comedy, Adult World.

The Scream 4 star has been previously romantically linked to Chord Overstreet and Alex Pettyfer.

She gushed about her Peters in an interview with E! News last May when she was asked about taking him as her date to the Tribeca Film Festival.

"It was really fun, getting to be at Tribeca together," she said.

"It was nice, because the work stuff gets boring sometimes, so to have your friends and family and your boyfriend there, it makes it a lot easier and a lot more fun."
