Elsa from Frozen wanted by Kentucky police
It was only a matter of time before Queen Elsa’s icy reputation landed her in hot water.
And sure enough, the Frozen monarch has clearly taken her powers a step too far, after a warrant was issued for her arrest by Kentucky police – blaming her for cold weather in the region.
The warrant in question showed up on the Facebook page for Harlan County Police Department on Wednesday – and unsurprisingly went viral:
We’re not entirely sure if it led to Elsa’s apprehension, as temperatures in the area dropped to around -10 degrees celsius.
But the authorities were quick to inform their followers that perhaps their previous statement should be taken too seriously (as if we hadn’t figured that one out already):
They later added they ‘didn’t expect’ their little joke to receive quite as much attention as it did.
