Dunwoody Police Seek Regions Bank Armed Robbery Suspect

Police in Dunwoody are looking for the above person following a bank robbery late Friday morning. According to Dunwoody police, units responded to an armed robbery at a Regions Bank located on Mt. Vernon Road shortly after 10 a.m.

DUNWOODY, Ga. - Police in Dunwoody are looking for a suspect following a bank robbery late Friday moing.

According to Dunwoody police, units responded to an armed robbery at a Regions Bank located on Mt. Veon Road shortly after 10 a.m.

Police say the suspect, carrying a dark semi-automatic handgun, demanded cash. The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male and around 5 feet, 6 inches in height. Police say he was wearing a red baseball cap bearing a yellow stripe across the front, a gray long sleeve shirt button all the way up, blue jean Capri style shorts with a designer patch on the left leg. The suspect was carrying a blue bag on his left shoulder.

Police consider the suspect armed and dangerous. If anyone sees the suspect, they are to use caution and call 911 immediately.
